Getting ready to take Toby for a walk. Had a good day. I bought 3 electric powered standing desks, 4 legal file drawer cabinets, and a small file cabinet for my bookkeeper. Insanely cheap. Remind me to feed upon the misfortune of others more often.
Sadly, only one of the places worked out, so CaptDale and I had time to kill. We went to the Beverly Hills Car Club, a classic car dealer, and to a Ducati/KTM dealer where I looked at bikes I will not buy. Goddamn that 959 is gorgeous, though. Wow. I also liked the Monster and Scrambler.
CaptDale is an excellent shopping companion, and we had a very fun day. I was happy he was able to join me, and we will be catching up with SPAMbot later for dinner. I have met a few Opponauts now, and you are good people. Toby likes CaptDale a lot, and was happy to see him. My mom also thinks he is very sweet, which probably should count for something.
Something I noticed. If you want to buy a Ducati, but do not want to kill yourself, they really don’t offer many options.

Man, BHCC has bait for pretty much every oppo. There are a lot of drool-worthy cars. Even a lot of the “projects” are pretty cool.

There’s a store near me that specializes in used office furniture. We recently bought several office chairs for the water plants and a new lab stool from them. It’s shocking how expensive office furniture can be and how cheap it gets after someone liquidates. It’s almost old Range Rover levels of depreciation.
